As a personal fan I know that getting their free ep will make me want to buy their whole album. Also, their link on www.absolutepunk.net takes you straight to their main website where you can download the ep and can download their full cd when it's finally released. Much like the article we read about "free" being successful, I think The Summer Obsession is using their free ep to their advantage to maintain their fan base that they had 3 years ago as well as grab the attention of new fans.
